Miami, Florida - January 12, 2023 AKEN, the Innovative brand of luxury Hotels & Resorts, Residences and Experiences continues its expansion with the appointment of two industry creatives; Matias Ranieri, Vice President, Operations and Development and Liz Speichinger, Vice President, Brand Development and Strategic Sales.

Ranieri, a seasoned hospitality professional with more than 17 years of experience, will lead operations, development, and owner relationship for the company. During his most recent time with experiential brands such as Selina and Habitas, he oversaw the creation of guest journey and Product Pillars and drove the company to a brand wellness and programming, successfully championing worldwide openings througout Latin America, Caribbean, Middle East & Africa.
Speichinger, a trusted hospitality sales leader with vast expertise in luxury sales and partnerships will lead the North American sales expansion and brand partnerships. Liz brings her tenure from Auberge Resorts and Four Seasons , being a creative leader who possesses capabilities in brand positioning, uncovering new market growth opportunities, and integrating leadership and asset ownership to top-tier clientele.
The AKEN brand proposition aims to disrupt and reinvent hospitality management and branding practices. AKEN offers carefully selected properties the opportunity to expand their potential through its services.
